DMHWS evolved out of many conversations with new friends of all kinds/ages – tennis leagues, golf lessons, wine tastings, and many other social events.
Dove Mountain is comprised of 5000+ homes, and 70% that are snowbirds, and/or have additional residences, there was a constant need that was being discussed - Who is watching our homes while we're away?
The company exploded with business immediately.
When needs arise, God shows up…
Lori Pearson had the company for about a year before Venisa Reyna became an obvious partner from almost the minute they met. Lori had almost 30 years in biotech, and was interested in a post-retirement profession (Hence, the formation of DMHWS). And, Venisa has been a Real Estate Agent for 15+ years, with some sporadic (SUCCESSFUL) side dabbling in retail (founder of Sweet Repeats – Children’s Resale Boutique).
Three years later, we have grown DMHWS from 15, to 30, to 45, to 50+ homes under our watch. Some are as simple as “performing basic home watch services”, many have evolved into major project management for repairs, remodels, and renovations. Still others want full concierge services – grocery delivery upon return, home cleaning/maintenance while away, lawn/irrigation maintenance, outdoor furniture/curtains/cushions cleaned, stored, and preserved, car delivery, etc… the list goes on.
The last few years were the most incredible blessing, and the reason/launch of Lori getting her real estate license, to assist Venisa.
Our DMHWS clients sometimes decide that they no longer want/can have their home here. We help them get moved out, and do what needs to be done to present their home in the best manner – for when we list and sell the home. AND, sometimes they want to move here, and secure a permanent residence!
At the beginning of 2023, Jen Weaver joined forces with DMHWS, and is supplying "our talent" for home watch visits to most our existing client base. Because of the success of the addition of Jen (and her growing team!), we are now able to expand to SaddleBrooke (Ranch), Sun City Oro Valley, and many other Oro Valley neighborhoods.
Tierra Antigua Realty gives us the flexibility (we handle the transactions we want to, with minimal intercession), exposure (immediate access to 1200+ TA agents for viewing of new listings, assistance with new situations that arise, etc..) and support (the tool box available to us is amazing).
